NATIONAL Publicity Secretary of the pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin, on Sunday, berated Zahra, President Muhammadu Buhari’s daughter, over a comment she posted on her Instagram page that events of the past days had shown that her father was not Nigeria’s problem.

Zahra Buhari-Indimi had indicated that Nigerians should look elsewhere for the problems of the country when she said on Instagram that the invasion of warehouses by hoodlums for COVID-19 palliatives had absolved her father of blame.

“Now that people confirmed that Buhari distributed enough palliatives nationwide, it is clear Buhari is not our problem,” she said.

Reacting, Odumakin said it was too early for Zahra to beat her chest on behalf of her father, making reference to the distribution of food to school children by Buhari’s minister when the said children were at home.

He said, “It is too early for Buhari”s daughter to beat her chest on behalf of the father because the oppressed has located where governors are hiding COVID-19 palliatives until an independent probe is done on the father and his warehouses searched.

“We are yet to forget that his minister was sharing foods to children in schools when they were at home.

“The young lady should spare us the boast for now and let us mourn our dead.”
