These are no doubt great times for Galala singer, Daddy Showkey, as the dread-wearing dude has just been decorated with a chieftaincy title. The outspoken and well-loved singer was on December 7 installed as the Ajaguna of Yakoyo land in Ojodu, Lagos State. The honour, it was learnt, was bestowed on him by the traditional ruler of the area, where Showkey has resided for years, based on his contribution to the community.
Aside from his genre of music, which has brought him fame and fortune, Delta-born but Ajegunle, Lagos State-bred singer, John Asiemo, popularly known as Daddy Showkey, has over the years proved himself to be a peace lover, crusader of oneness and an advocate of development.
