The Drivers Association of Dangote Cement, Obajana Plant, Kogi State, has resolved not to transport cement to the South East region due to the activities of unknown gunmen in the region.
This is contained in a letter written by the association dated December 11, 2022.
The letter reads, “We write this short notice to the company that we are returning some way bills of South East, Nigeria, that we drivers are not going to some parts of South East due to ongoing situation in the area.”
The states mentioned in the letter are: Enugu, Anambra, Abia, Imo, Ebonyi and Akwa Ibom.
