Dele Alli’s parents in legal fight over MK Dons contract

Dele Alli’s parents are involved in a legal battle with MK Dons over the midfielder’s first contract.

Denise and Kehinde Alli claimed they should have been asked to sign the midfielder’s first professional deal when he was 16.

Tottenham star, Alli has lived with Alan and Sally Hickford – the parents of MK Dons academy graduate Harry – since he was 13, but was not officially adopted. And it was reported that Alli’s biological parents – who split when he was three – insist the hickfords should not have been allowed to act as his guardians when he signed.

The England international, 20, has a tricky relationship with Denise and Kehinde and took the family name off his shirt last year.

And it has been reported that neither Denise nor Kehinde has seen Alli since he signed for Spurs two years ago.

Alli’s mum, Denise says she has not seen her son since he signed for Spurs Alli continued his good run with a penalty against Southampton.

The devastated pair also revealed they have waited outside Tottenham match venues and Dele’s training ground in the hope of seeing their son.

Kehinde, who is himself a multimillionaire entrepreneur originally from Nigeria, said he even paid to go on a stadium tour at White Hart Lane, in an attempt to make contact.
