Dogara: Dream Team good for gold

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, who assured the team of his support when they threatened to boycott the quarter final encounter against Denmark, is optimistic that the team will win the elusive Olympic gold.
Speaking after watching the Nigerian side put down Denmark in the gruelling quarter final duel, Dogara, said the Nigerian spirit was on display in the encounter. “We pleaded with the team not to boycott the quarter final match and here we are in the the semi final, we can go all the way and win the gold medal as was the case in Atlanta 96′. We are about to do it again”.
Dogara called on all Nigerians to line behind the team as they seek to Make the country happy under difficult economic times. “I believe that the can do spirit of the average Nigerian is pushing the team to the highest level and no team can stop us”.he declared.
