Don’t underrate Tinubu’s leadership, Daniel tells Nigerians

A former Governor of Ogun State and current Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District, Gbenga Daniel, has appealed to Nigerians to steadfastly support President Bola Tinubu’s government, expressing confidence that the administration will bring positive transformation to the country.

Speaking on Sunday during the 19th annual thanksgiving service at Baptist International Worship Center, Sagamu, Ogun State, Daniel acknowledged the existing challenges in the country due to some of the policies introduced by Tinubu’s government.

However, he assured the public that these difficulties would lead to a better future.

“I have known Asiwaju (Tinubu) for over 20 years, and I know that he is capable, he is able. One thing you must not do is take him for granted.

“I know that Asiwaju will turn around the fortune of this country and I am sure it will happen before long.

“If there are little challenges, let’s just accept that this is normally how things like this go. I urge you to continue to support him and his administration,” he said.

Daniel also called on stakeholders and residents to support the state government, expressing optimism that Ogun State would continue to prosper.

During the thanksgiving service, the Bishop of Lagos North Diocese of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Bishop Gboyega Ohu highlighted the importance of thanksgiving and love in society.
He acknowledged Daniel’s political resurgence after being “caged for eight years” and emphasized the need to appreciate God for his
life.
