The Edo State House of Assembly has served impeachment notice on Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu.
The Speaker, Blessing Agbebaku, directed the clerk to serve an impeachment notice to Deputy Governor, with seven days to respond.
Recall that Shaibu had alleged a plot to impeach him from office, claiming his governorship ambition was responsible for the plot.
According to a source, 22 lawmakers out of the 24 have signed the impeachment notice making the eventual removal of Shaibu inevitable.
