With 18 days to the Ekiti State APC governorship primary election coming up on January 22, 2022, the party already has N157.5 in its kitty.
As at Tuesday, January 4, 2022, The Point gathered that seven aspirants have obtained nomination forms and expression of interest.
The aspirants that have obtained the N22.5 million nomination forms and expression of interest are: Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji; Otunba Demola Popoola; Prince Adedayo Adeyeye; Kayode Olubunmi Ojo; Bamisile Olufemi; Michael Opeyemi Bamidele and Bamidele Faparusi.
The sale of form is scheduled to close on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, while the gubernatorial election will take place on June 18, 2022.
