Enyimba’s Mustapha lead’s assault against Nasarawa

Former CAF Champions League kings, Enyimba International Football Club of Aba, is proud to unleash its newly signed striker, Ibrahim Mustapha, against Nasarawa United Football Club for the maximum three points at stake this weekend.

The former El-Kanemi Warriors’ striker joined the Peoples Elephant before the start of the new season and he has seemingly given the Enyimba attack some form of stability, having started all of their league games so far. The Borno-born Mustapha spoke about his desire to justify the confidence reposed in him by Enyimba’s technical crew.

“It is important for me to start scoring here at Enyimba. I am also happy that we won our matches, especially after our loss in Jos. I believe more goals will come, Insha Allah,” he said.

Mustapha scored 10 league goals for El-Kanemi Warriors last season and barely two months that Mustapha joined Enyimba for pre-season, after completing his switch from Maiduguri, but he has clearly seen a difference between the expectations of both teams.

He added, “The pressure between Enyimba and ElKanemi is different, because Enyimba always aspire to be champions. “That is what motivated me to come here.

I also want to be a champion, and since El-Kanemi is my hometown club, I also thought I needed a new challenge.” But now he is now shifting attention on Nasarawa United and he has promised to make Aba fans happy by scoring a goal or two.
