Fani-Kayode says Buhari encouraging killer herdsmen, tells Nigerians what to do

Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister, on Thursday maintained that President Muhammadu Buhari is “openly encouraging and protecting” Fulani herdsmen killing Nigerians.

The former Minister stressed that the president was rationalizing herdsmen “genocidal slaughter and mass murder.”

Fani-Kayode, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, urged Nigerians to rise up and defend themselves from Fulani terrorists “indulging in a “bloodfest.”

In a tweet via his social media handle, the former Minister wrote: “Yesterday it was Benue today it is Taraba. The Fulani terrorists are indulging in a bloodfest of gargantuan proportions whilst the Buhari govt. openly encourages and protects them and attempts to rationalise their genocidal slaughter and mass murder. Time to defend ourselves!”

There have been several attacks on residents of Benue State in recent weeks by Fulani herdsmen, a situation that has drawn condemnations from a cross section of Nigerians.
