The Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has commiserated with the family of the late Dr. Femi Tolani, a former member of the Ekiti State Executive Council, who passed on in Edmonton, Canada on Friday, February 17, after a brief illness.
Tolani, aged 48, served as Special Adviser on Public Private Partnership in Fayemi’s administration in Ekiti State between 2011 and 2013. He hailed from Osun Ekiti in Moba Local Government Area of the state.
Fayemi, in a condolence message signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Yinka Oyebode, said Tolani’s death at such a young age was not only saddening, but shocking and devastating.
The minister described the late Tolani as a very brilliant man, a thorough -bred professional, who through the dint of hard work and dedication, worked his way to the pinnacle of his professional and academic callings, with outstanding credentials.
