Not fewer than four police officers sustained various degrees of injuries in a road accident involving the convoy of the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Adewale Egbedun on Sunday.
The Speaker was travelling outside Osogbo, the state capital on Sunday morning while his convoy was rushing to meet up with an event.
It was gathered that the Speaker was going to Inisa, Odo-Otin Local Government Area of the state.
On their way, one of the convoy’s vehicles conveying policemen was involved in the accident, a situation that led to the cops sustaining injuries.
