GUNMEN, on Wednesday night, attacked the residence of former Governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson, killing a policeman.
The gunmen were said to have stormed the former governor’s residence, at Toru-Orua, in the Sagbama Local Government Area of the state, at about midnight.
They reportedly gained access into the house through the Forcados River.
The deceased, who was said to have died on the spot, was one of the police operatives guarding the former Governor’s residence.
The Police had yet to release an official statement on the incident as of the time of filing this report.
