Hajiya Zainab, mother of former speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Isiyaku Ali Danja, has been abducted by gunmen.
Reports said that the gunmen around 1:00 am on Wednesday, entered Hajiya Zainab’s house in Gezawa Local Government Area and forced occupants to be taken to her room.
Ali Danja’s son, Saminu Danja who confirmed Zainab’s abduction, disclosed that the family has not been contacted.
Danja was also former member, Federal House of Representatives in 1992 and later former executive chairman of Gezawa Local Government Council between 1999 and 2003.
