CHAIRMAN of the Nigeria Labour Congress in Taraba State, Peter Jediel, has been reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
He was said to have been abducted at his residence, in Sunkani, Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of the state on Sunday afternoon.
The Labour leader’s younger brother disclosed the development to journalists on Sunday morning, saying the gunmen stormed his house at about 12.30pm.
According to him, the abductors shot sporadically before whisking the chairman away.
The kidnappers had yet to establish contact with the family of the victim, he said.
