There is heavy security presence in Osogbo, capital of Osun State as the Nigeria Labour Congress and other related unions including judiciary workers and local government unions are presently leading the #EndHungerProtest.
The protesters gathered at Olaiya area and started chanting solidarity songs.
Security agencies including the Nigeria Police Force Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and the Department of State Services are on ground ensuring that the protest is not being hijacked by hoodlums.
The nationwide protest is going on in Abuja and Lagos among other states.
Some civil society organisations also joined the protests and demanded for reversal of fuel price among other requests.
