Indonesia has always been very strict with its rules regarding drug trafficking within the country, with a stipulated death sentence as the penalty if caught.
According to reports, while the office of Attorney General, Muhammad Prasetyo, had yet to release details about this round of executions, preparations had been underway at the Nusakambangan Prison Island in Cilacap, West Java.
The inmates are usually killed at night outside the Nusakambangan prison facility after 72 hours of isolation and counsel from their religious guide.
