The Independent National Electoral Commission has so far uploaded results from 2,238 polling units out of the 3,508 that the commission conducted election on the Kogi State Governorship election on Saturday.
Check by The Point on the commission’s IReV portal at 6:42pm showed that the uploaded results amounted to 63.80 percent.
Similarly, some results for the governorship elections in Imo and Bayelsa have been uploaded.
The commission had said the results viewing portal is to enhance election transparency and not a result collation or transmission system.
It advised journalists and members of the public not to confuse uploading polling units’ results to the INEC Result Viewing Portal with the electronic transmission of results.
