Inside Magodo: Club Ziggies may reopen soon

There are indications that the most popular nightclub in Magogo Phase 2, Ziggies, will reopen for services very soon. The club has been closed for some months.
When The Point visited the club, which is situated at Bashir Shittu Street, on Wednesday, there were indications that activities were going on there.
A few persons, who were seen at the vicinity declined to speak on what to expect and how soon , insisting that the manager was not around.
A source told our correspondent that the Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria shut the entertainment house three months ago.
“It has been shut for about three months. AMCON shuts it down, which means the management was owing or had an issue with the body. Mostly, if AMCON, closes a business outfit, it means the outfit is owing. When Silverbird was closed, the management was alleged to be owing. But I observed earlier in the week that the entertainment outfit has been reopened and activities have started there again. AMCON may have to run the place as a business unit, make its money and later return it to the owners,” the source explained.
When our correspondent called a number he collected from Ziggie’s official website, a lady who picked the call insisted it was a wrong number.
