The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has warned criminals in the South East against the killing of Hausas in the region.

Spokesman for the proscribed group, Emma Powerful, disclosed this in a statement in reaction to the gruesome killing of a mother simply known as Fatima, along with her three children.

Powerful in the statement, noted that Hausas have suffered like Biafrans, but the group will not allow anyone to touch Hausa’s again because they have the right to walk freely and do business like any other person in the region.

The group told the killers mother and children of Hausa extraction in the past few days in Anambra to wait for them.

“We reiterate once again that Hausas have suffered much in the hands of Fulani like Biafrans and we will not allow any criminal to touch them again, they are free to do their business anywhere they like in our land and those who killed mother and children of Hausa extraction to be ready and wait for us we are coming for them”, the group said.

IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu on Sunday, called for an end to the senseless killings in the South East, saying all those behind the criminal act be held accountable for their atrocities, as Ndigbo is not known for cannibalism.

Kanu made the call in reaction to the beheading of Hon. Okechukwu Okoye, by unknown gunmen after he was kidnapped.
