K1 mourns late daughter with heart touching tribute

It may no longer be news that frontline fuji singer, King Wasiu Ayinde, recently lost one of his daughters to the cold hands of death in far-away Canada. But what may be of interest is how all and sundry have shared in the sadness of the singer, as many are identifying with him in this trying period.
Meanwhile, the prominent singer seems to have eventually come to terms with the reality of the sad occurence by writing a moving tribute to the late 34-year-old Wasilat Olaronke. In the tribute, he accepts the ugly incident as his fate, attributing it to an act of God as he highlighted his relationship with the departed soul.
“I give glory and thanks to God Almighty, who gave you to me as a gift by you coming into this world for a purpose and through me. I saw several times while you were growing up that I was privileged to be your father and also to that kind of a child who doubled as my friend. About your sickness and also efforts, though medical means did not fail us. Neither did your prayers and that of mine and everybody that loved you never heeded by God (sic). Rather, it’s a direct word that Allah needed you in Paradise. And I totally submit to that and never question Him for doing that,” the Fuji Czar wrote.
Wasilat was a graduate of the University of Lagos and was married.
