Kenny Saint Brown tackles 9ice

In resuscitating his fading music career, one of the tracks through which 9ice has been able to achieve that is his popular effort, ‘Living things.’ But the lyrics, in some quarters, is perceived to encourage internet fraud, better known as Yahoo Yahoo. The controversial track had formed the basis of the settled squabbles between the top singer and flourishing new entrant, Falz, when the latter condemned the lyrics and the former saw it as an affront to his person.
Gospel singer, Kenny Saint Best, may have revived the rested issue by revisiting it as she has called on the Gongo Aso crooner, 9ice, to explain his use of the terms believed to belong to yahoo yahoo boys in the track.
KSB recently challenged 9ice to explain the term, Shase, which she argued should not have come from the singer, based on the fact that he was a top singer seen as a role model by many young persons. Condemning the lyrics of the track, she said such a song would only encourage the younger ones to want to toe the wrong
path.
However, efforts by our correspondent to speak with the Oyo State born singer for his reaction proved abortive as he did not answer calls made to his phone. Well, fans of both musicians are waiting to see where all this ends.
