The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, on Wednesday, inspected a section of the Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road being constructed by his administration.
The governor disclosed this while sharing photos from the visit on his X handle on Thursday.
Makinde added that the road, when completed, will create an alternative route for residents and travelers and reduce traffic congestion within Ibadan, the state capital.
He wrote, “We inspected the East End Wing of the 110 km Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road being constructed by our administration yesterday.
“We recently secured additional funding from AfreximBank and Access Bank to continue this project.
“When completed, the circular road will create an alternative route for residents and travelers and reduce traffic congestion within Ibadan.
“The benefits of this project to Oyo State’s economy are enormous as it will open up more areas in Ibadan leading to further development.”
