Pep Guardiola has stated that his team must make every effort to improve their performance because they are not accustomed to losing games in a row.
City’s hopes of recovering from their previous bad play were dashed when they lost to Tottenham Hotspur 4-0.
Spurs, who had lost two in a row going into the match, won thanks to goals from Pedro Porto, Brennan Johnson, and James Maddison.
Following the outcome of the match, Guardiola summed up his frustration in a post match interview:
“We are not used to losing so many games in a row.
”That’s happened. We have to do everything to change, especially the next one.”
City will next play Feyenoord at home in the UEFA Champions League at the Etihad. They will also play Liverpool at Anfield as they make their comeback to the domestic scene.
