Officials of the Delta State Emergency Management and security operatives have restricted movement in the vicinity of a 20-storey hotel building which collapsed Thursday evening in Asaba, the state capital.
The building which was under construction is reportedly owned by billionaire businessman and founder of Rain Oil Group, Gabriel Ogbechie.
Located directly opposite Delta Mall Asaba (Shoprite), what led to the collapse of the emerging multi-million Naira edifice could not be immediately established.
