The very first time I experienced love was just before I got into Ambrose Alli University in Edo State. We lasted for over six years, though she was older than me and she got admission before I did.
Being older than me was a major challenge; you know women grow faster than men and they want to get married quickly. She left me when she had to move on and I understood her.
That very first time, I was very emotional about it and romantic. I would buy flowers and perfumes for her every time. It was a wonderful feeling. Beyond the hard look I put on, I am a very soft person inside.
That’s why I try to guard myself jealously. I do not like to open up to people easily because things get to me quickly. Now, I have found love again and I just got married yesterday, January 19.
It may interest you to know that this is not the first time I would be making attempt to tie the knot. I had done an introduction with another lady before but I had to call it off, even when plans had been concluded for the wedding ceremony. And this was just a while ago. There is no happy couple who would want to divorce; something has to come in-between them.
However, I always believe that as long as you have an understanding between both of you, it should not get to the extent of divorce.
