My first love: Hafiz Oyetoro aka Saka

I cannot describe it; I was in secondary school when it happened. It was like I had entered another life. Anytime she was with me, I felt special and I felt she was special too.
Then, I was always emotionally unstable. Love is an issue of emotion that everyone experiences every day.
Unfortunately, it was a very traumatic experience at the end of the day because a close friend snatched her from me. I wasn’t mature enough to handle the relationship. Being my first, I was bound to make mistakes and I did.
When she started dating my friend, I felt betrayed. I suspect that it was the reason I did not marry early; I just thought of that now.
The friend was an experienced person in the matter of relationships and I was always going to him for advice. He even had his own girlfriend who actually became his wife. I was broken emotionally for a very long time; it was so traumatic, but I overcame it. After the sad incidence, I felt that before I could get involved again, I needed to be mature and know how to handle issues. And I did not take any woman seriously until I met my wife.
Over the years, I have come to realise that once you meet your own woman, you will not make mistakes.
