Nigeria hosts maiden National Schools Fair Exhibition

Over hundred top schools across the country will participate in Nigeria’s premier national schools fair, which will feature a national road show of the nation’s leading schools and educational products/services.
The Coordinator of the National Schools Fair, Dr. Vera Kalu, said in a statement that the NASFAIR and tours was conceived as a platform to match Nigeria’s leading schools with parents and prospective students seeking admission into schools in the 2018/2019 academic year and beyond.
Kalu said that the fair, which would be held in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, respectively, would run through four consecutive Saturdays, beginning from May 26, 2018, till June 16, 2018.
She added that the organisers had identified seven special considerations when parents were looking for the right school for their children to include location, size, educational philosophy, curriculum, faculty, fees and facilities, which would provide parents with a unique opportunity for a one-stop shop.
Kalu said, “Representatives from more than 100 schools will be available to provide both on-site and take-home information. These school representatives will be available to answer questions, as well as provide information on the application processes, tuition fees, facilities curricular and extracurricular offerings, class size and what makes their school unique.
“The fair will take scores of pre-screened schools to four venues across the nation, including Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, Abuja and Port Harcourt. The fair, expected to be graced by over 5000 admission-ready students and their parents, will present prospects for educational institutions to showcase and market educational opportunities, admit prospective students, create new partnerships/alliances and boost their schools’ brand exposure.”
