The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Oyo State Command, on Tuesday in Ibadan, sealed off a private guard company said to be operating without licence.

The NSCDC Public Relations Officer in the state, Oluwole Olusegun, gave the indication in a statement issued on Tuesday.

Oluwole said in the statement that the sealed outfit, named Stallion Private Security, is along Samonda-University of Ibadan Road, opposite Emmanuel College of Theology.

The statement read that the Head of Department of Private Guard Companies of the Corps, Folashade Adegoke, monitored the sealing of the illegal outfit.

It stated that the Corps would continue to carry out its mandate, adding that activities of private security companies needed to be monitored due to the current security challenges in the country.

The Commandant of NSCDC in the state, Adaralewa Michael, enjoined all illegal security outfits in the state to register their companies.

The NSCDC chief added that the Corps would leave no stone unturned in checkmating the activities of unregistered private security outfits in the state.
