Odeghe quits board of Fidelity Bank as Executive Director

Obaro Odeghe who is in charge of Corporate Banking of Fidelity Bank Plc as Executive Director in the last two years has resigned from that position forthwith.

He will cease to occupy his elevated office in the bank from December 21, 2021, according to a statement signed by the company secretary of Fidelity Bank, Ezinwa Unuigboje.

Both the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Nigerian Exchange Limited have been notified of Odeghe’s decision to move on.

According to Unuigboje, the Board approved the retirement at its meeting of October 28, 2021 and communicated the same to the CBN, which formally noted the development.

Odeghe joined Fidelity Bank in March 2015 as a General Manager and was appointed to the Board in September 2019. His retirement comes after six years of meritorious service to the institution.

“The Board seized this opportunity to acknowledge Mr. Obaro Odeghe’s contributions during the period of his employment and tenure on the Board and wishes him the very best in his future endeavours,” the statement from the bank said.
