Ododo appreciates Kogi voters after election victory

The governor-elect of Kogi State, Usman Ododo, has expressed his appreciation to the people of the state for their support during the just concluded off-cycle election

Ododo made this known in photos shared on his X handle on Tuesday.

His caption read, “My beloved people of Kogi State, thank you for the enormous love and unwavering support. I am truly humbled!

“God bless Kogi State. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

Ododo was announced winner of the just concluded November 11 governorship election in Kogi State.

He won with 446,237 votes, defeating his closest rival, Murtala Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party, who garnered 259,052, while Dino Melaye of the People’s Democratic Party pulled 46,362 votes.
