Ogun governor vows to safeguard Ojude Oba heritage

The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to preserving the cultural legacy of the Ojude Oba Festival, describing it as a vibrant heritage that must be protected for future generations.

Governor Abiodun stated in a message shared on social media platform X on Sunday.

He said, “Together, we will continue to safeguard this vibrant heritage while building a prosperous and inclusive Ogun State that honours its past and embraces its future.”

The annual Ojude Oba Festival, held in Ijebu-Ode, celebrates the rich traditions and unity of the Ijebu people, drawing thousands of participants and spectators from across the country.
