Ogun LCDA boss promises rapid development

The newly sworn-in Chairman of Leguru Local Council Development Area of Ogun State, Hon. Ololade Ahmed Onakoya, has assured the people of the rapid development of the area.
Onakoya, also known as Debasco Junior, gave the assurance while receiving the members of the Council of Leguru Baales in his Atiba residence.
The council boss said that he was determined to leave a legacy of massive development, especially in the area of provision of potable water, good road network and security of lives and property in the LCDA.
He added that his administration was out to put smile on the faces of the people in the council area by promptly addressing the various challenges confronting them.
Onakoya noted that since he resumed in office he had been working on how to actualize his dreams for the newly created Leguru LCDA.
“I want to say that my priority, since assumption of office some days ago, is the welfare and well- being of the people. I will always pursue the policies and programmes of the state government in order to bring the dividends of democracy to every nook and cranny of the LCDA,” he said.
The council boss also solicited the assistance and cooperation of all stakeholders in the area.
While responding, the Chairman of the Council of Baales, Chief Rasaki Badaru, said the traditional rulers had been following with keen interest the activities of the new LCDA chairman even before his election and were satisfied with his conduct.
Badaru enjoined the council boss to lay emphasis on good roads, potable water, poverty alleviation, sound medical services and assistance to farmers.
He assured the LCDA boss of the support of all the Baales in the Leguru area throughout the duration of his tenure.
