Olamide’s Culture Tour sells out in Europe?

It’s no longer news that popular rapper, singer and record label proprietor, Olamide, recently embarked on a tour of Europe.

What’s news now, though, is that Alex Ozone of 03media, who is said to have packaged the tour, is claiming that the tour was not just a success, but it’s the most successful ever by an African show promoter or artiste in Europe.

According to Ozone, the tour, known as Culture Tour, recorded sold out venues in Istanbul, Ukraine, Vienna, Brescia, Venice, Palermo, Torino, Berlin, Helsinki and still counting as there were also cases of crowd overflow in Venice, Berlin and Helsinki.

Ozone admitted that prior to the tour, there were fears and apprehension that it might flop, given the fact that Olamide is an indigenous Yoruba rapper. It was feared that he might not have the capacity and spread to attract fans, but he, as the tour promoter, kept assuring everyone  that  he’s on a mission not to just take Nigerian music all across the world, but also the culture, which prompted him to choose Olamide on this particular tour.

Also on the Olamide team to the Culture Tour were YBNL signees, Viktoh and DJ Mewsic.
