ONIU to partner women’s wing on N10m shopping complex

The President General of the Okaiuga Nkwoegwu Improvement Union, Sir Obi Aguocha, has assured that the union will partner with its women’s wing to build a N10million shopping complex at the town’s civic centre.
Aguocha said this while speaking to our correspondent after attending the 2017 August Conference of the wing at Okaiuga Nkwoegwu Central School, in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia state.
He argued that when completed, the complex, which would be located at about five kilometers from the centre of the state capital, Umuahia, would bring development nearer to the town and create employment for the people.
“This will be part of our contributions to the development of the town by providing conducive business environment for the people and job opportunities for the unemployed,” the ONIU president general said.
