The spokesperson of the Ooni of Ife, Moses Olafare, has said that the palace has no knowledge of the decision of Queen Naomi Silekunola, the ex-wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, to end her marriage with the first class monarch.
Queen Silekunola had, earlier on Thursday, announced her separation with Ooni Ogunwusi, saying that she should no longer be addressed as Queen of Ile-Ife.
Olafare was quoted as saying, “The palace is not aware of the decision of the Olori.
“Kabiyesi has not briefed me on the matter, but I will get back to you soon.”
