Originality, key to my music, says D-Tac

Things now look pretty good for Daniel Tunde Adeosun, aka D-Tac, after sealing a management deal with T-Records, a label owned by Mark-Anthony Opurum. But it was not a walk in the park for the up-andcoming singer, as he was selected during a contest that required artistes in Nigeria to send in songs, which was carefully scrutinised.
Before now, he had been doing music silently, waiting for a break or an opportunity. According to the label executives, 10 finalists were called in for oral interview and physical performances of their entries. D-Tac, who began music at the age of 11, was selected as the preferred choice.

The Chief Executive of T-Records, Opurum, explained that the label saw more than talent in him. He added that they had discovered that he understood the art very well within a short period.
For D-Tac, he is not on the music scene to compete with anyone, as he has grown into a full breed artiste over the years.
He said, “Everybody has got his space in the sky and I am not in the industry like somebody else. I just want to be original, as it is the key to my success as I begin my foray into music officially and professionally.”
