Osinbajo visits Ebonyi, commissions projects

Vice-President Yemi Osibanjo has arrived in Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi State, to flag off the project of the Joint Planning Board and National Council on Development Planning in the state.

Osinbajo, who arrived in a chopper that touched down at the Ebonyi State International Airport site, Onueke, was received by Governor David Umahi and some top government functionaries in the state, including the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kenneth Ugbala; and some security chiefs.

After participating in the ongoing meeting at the Executive Chamber of Government House, Abakaliki, the Vice-President is expected to commission some projects that were executed by the Ebonyi State Government.

The projects include a section of Abakaliki-Afikpo dual carriage way, President Buhari Light tunnel, Sam Egwu Flyover, as well as the Government House Chapel, all in Abakaliki.
