Osinbajo woos delegates in Bauchi, visits Tafawa Balewa’s tomb

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is on a visit to Bauchi State.

Ahead of the presidential primary of the ruling All Progressive Congress, the Vice President is expected to hold meeting with delegates in the state.

Osinbajo, a presidential aspirant of the APC, reportedly touched down at the Bauchi Airport around 10:20am on Tuesday.

He visited the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, and later went to the tomb of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Nigeria’s first Prime Minister.

The Vice President is expected to meet with the Bauchi APC delegates at Hazibal Event Center, Bauchi where they are being accredited.

During his visit to Gombe, the VP met with the state governor as well as the APC delegates to solicit their support during the presidential primary.
