Osun cleric allegedly murdered, burnt inside church by subordinate days after threatening sack

The Shepherd-in-charge of Celestial Church of Christ, Grace of Comfort Parish, Obaloran Quarters, Omitoto Lane 2, Oke Ado, Ilode, Ile-Ife Osun State, Most Superior Evangelist Olagbaju Moris Gbade Fadehan has been killed inside his church allegedly by his assistant pastor identified as Evangelist Olalekan Ogundipe.

It was gathered that Fadehan was killed while bowing his head down on the church altar and praying on Monday.

Ogundipe, serving as Assistant to the deceased was accused of killing the cleric few days after Fadehan reportedly threatened to relieve him of his duties over negative reports about the suspect.

It was learnt that they were having an unresolved conflict and that Ogundipe had also attacked some other senior leaders of the church.

Ogundipe allegedly hit Fadehan while he was praying with the church bell.

He allegedly hit him with nails on his skull and ears and set him ablaze afterwards.

The suspect was said to have been handed over to police officers at Iloro Divisional Police Station in Ile-Ife after the act.

When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of the Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola did not pick up phone calls.
