Osun guber candidate’s residence goes up in flames

The residence of the governorship candidate of the Accord Party in the Saturday’s election in Osun State, Akin Ogunbiyi has gone up in flames.

Ogunbiyi’s private residence situated in his hometown, Ile Ogbo, Ayedire Local Government Area of the state was torched around 7:45pm on Sunday evening.

Few minutes after the news of the fire outbreak broke, sympathisers, especially political supporters of the gubernatorial candidate gathered at his house.

Meanwhile, Ogunbiyi has thanked the people of the state for sympathising with him over the fire incidence.

He declared that he cherished the concerns and prayers of his teaming supporters over the incidence.

Ogunbiyi stated in a statement issued on Monday by the media team of his Campaign Organization, that whatever happens, he was determined to liberate the people of Osun from bad and wicked governance at all levels.

Although the Accord candidate didn’t reveal what caused the fire or who was responsible, he advised the people to vote for him with their conscience in order for a new dawn to come upon the state.

He called on all the people to come out on Saturday to vote for him for the progress, development and prosperity of the state and its citizens.
