The Forum of the Local Government Education Authority Secretaries and Members in Osun State has declared total support for the second term ambition of the state governor, Ademola Adeleke.
This declaration was made at the Forum’s strategic meeting held on Thursday.
According to a communique jointly signed by Adisa Peter, chairman Forum of Secretaries; Salinsile Slukumonu,
Chairman, Members Forum; Abodunrin Ganiyu, Secretary, Secretaries Forum; Tajudeen Adesiyan, Secretary, Members Forum and Isaiah Fayemi,
Public Relations Officer, Secretaries Forum; the forum deliberated on matters of governance and the continued progress of the state under Governor Adeleke before resolving to support him for another tenure.
It read, “The Forum unanimously commends His Excellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke, for his visionary leadership, people-centered governance, and transformational policies which have significantly impacted the education sector and overall development in Osun State.
“Recognizing the giant strides recorded in infrastructural development, education reforms, welfare of civil servants, and inclusive governance, the Forum unequivocally declares its total support for the second term ambition of Governor Adeleke. His continued leadership is imperative for sustaining and consolidating the achievements made in the first term.
“The Forum calls on all stakeholders, political actors, civil servants, and citizens of Osun State to unite and rally behind the governor in the spirit of progress and development. We urge for continued mobilization and sensitization at all levels in support of the governor’s re-election.
“The LGEA Forum reiterates its unwavering commitment to the principles of good governance, transparency, and service delivery at the grassroots level. We pledge to continue working collaboratively with the state government to achieve shared goals.
“The Forum expresses profound gratitude to His Excellency for his inclusive leadership style and for prioritizing the welfare of local government education authorities across the state.
“In conclusion, we reaffirm our steadfast loyalty and declare our full endorsement of Governor Ademola Adeleke for a second term, confident that his re-election will bring greater prosperity to Osun State.”
