Owo Is One Association has applauded the choice of Olayide Owolabi Adelami, as the Deputy Governor of Ondo State.
In a press statement on Friday, the Association enthusiastically praised the Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa for choosing Adelami, a former Deputy Clerk of Nigeria’s National Assembly, an outstanding Owo indigene, seasoned administrator and philanthropist as his deputy.
The statement said, that the choice was a strong indication of the governor’s capacity to take critical decisions and identify talent.
Going further, it said that Adelami’s record of achievements, sterling performance as an administrator and compassionate service to the people, combining with the deftness and astuteness of the governor was bound to take the state to new heights.
The Association pledged its support and cooperation to the administration and prayed for success and God’s guidance and blessings for the men at the helm of affairs of the state.
The press statement was jointly signed by the National Coordinator of the Association, Akinboro Aruwajoye, Ogbeni Oja of Owo of Owo kingdom and Olatunbosun Oladimeji, the Director of Publications.
