A member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Evelyn Oboro, has enjoined Nigerian women to take active interest and role in politics to better their lives.
Oboro, representing Uvwie, Sapele and Okpe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, made this appeal in Warri, Delta State.
The lawmaker, who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, said women should stop shying away from participating fully in politics because they had the capacity to empower more people than the men.
