CONTROVERSIAL Prophet, Onyebuchi Okocha, popularly known as Onyeze Jesus, has been arrested by the Police in Anambra State.
His arrest, on Wednesday, came on the heels of a warning issued him by the state government on Monday against what the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Don Adinuba, termed “criminal and indecent conduct in the name of religion”.
The arrested prophet, who is said to be about 32 years old, is the founder of Children of Light Anointing Ministries, Nkpor, Idemili North Local Government Area of the state.
He had been trending on social media with videos showing half naked people by the river and promises of making people rich overnight.
Reacting to a claim that he would raise seven corpses on January 28, the Ministry of Health had, in a statement on Wednesday, warned hospitals and mortuaries operating in the state not to allow him access to their facilities.
He would be arraigned soon, THE POINT learnt.
