The Police in Osun State have arrested one Moses Ijiyinka for allegedly robbing a POS operator at Oke-Ede area of Ila-Orangun in Ila Local Government Area of the state.

According to information made available by a police source, the suspect conspired with another man at large to rob the POS agent, Taiwo Matthew Olalekan, of N600, 000.

It was gathered that Ijiyinka and his fleeing partner, approached Olalekan’s cubicle at about 2pm on May, 2021 and asked him to transfer the sum of N600, 000 to their account under the pretense that he would be paid in cash.

After receiving the alert of the said sum of money, Ijiyinka and his accomplice reportedly mounted a motorcycle and fled the scene.
Olalekan reported the matter at the Ila-Orangun Police Division.

Ijiyinka was later arrested on October 11 after absconding for about four months.
