Police arrest notorious robber in Lagos

Detectives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a notorious arm robbery suspect, Sunday Daniel, at the Maroko area of the state.
Our correspondent gathered that Danile was arrested while trying to carry out a robbery operation.
“At about 0545hrs of 9th of August, there was a distress call for help by a lady been robbed along Elegushi road, Lekki. Her shout for help alerted the team of policemen on patrol led by the DPO Sp Abdulmajid Isa, the team quickly moved in and apprehended the suspect, recovered from him is a locally made single barrel pistol and the victim’s handbag which contain her phone with the sum of #14600”, police situation report confirmed the suspect’s arrest.
