THE Kaduna State Police Command, on Wednesday, confirmed the abduction of students of a private university in the state, Greenfield University.
The Command has however not been able to ascertain the exact number of kidnapped students.
Police Public Relations Officer in the state, ASP Mohammed Jalige, who confirmed the incident, said a roll call was being taken to ascertain the identity and number of abducted students.
He said on getting the information that the gunmen had stormed the school, the police and the military moved there immediately.
He promised that the Police would update the public on the number of missing students as soon as it was confirmed.
Greenfield University, considered as the first private University in the state, is located kilometers away from the state capital on the Abuja-Kaduna highway.
