President Muhammadu Buhari has departed Abuja for medical check-up in the United Kingdom.
The president earlier planned to embark on the trip from Nairobi, Kenya after attending the United Nations Environmental Programme at 50 in the country recently.
Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, in a statement, on March 1, said that from Kenya, “the president would proceed to London for routine medical checks that would last for a maximum of two weeks.”
However, the president returned to Abuja on Friday at about 1pm before departing to London on Sunday.
