Primary Elections Result: Hon. Babajide Akinloye wins Federal House of Reps ticket

The people of Eti-Osa came out enmass with keen interest to choose who will represent them in the Federal House of Reps come 2019. After the tension and success of Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the polls for the Governorship primary elections.
The atmospehere was serene though charged if the elections will hold but it held.  The primary elections for the house of Representatives had four candidates but with two keen contestants in the Babajide’s. Babajide Akinloye and Babajide Obanikoro while Abayomi Daramola was perceived as a pushover but after keen voting with direct primaries by party members, Hon Jide Akinloye was victorious.
Doctor Tola Kasali, the Returning Officer from the party after explaining to everyone the guidelines to the election said his duty is to collate the results, agree with the agents on the result, give them a copy of the result while announcement of the certified true copy, signed by himself as given to the agents will be announced at the secretariat. The result of the election as released to agents of each candidate states
1. BABAJIDE AKINLOYE – 18, 245      2. BABAJIDE. OBANIKORO – 14,803   3. ABAYOMI DARAMOLA – 13, 276    4. ODUBIYI – 1, 817.
Hon. Jide Akinloye from the result given to his agent and other agents that signed the form has won the election while Dr Kasali signed and the INEC officer of the election got his own true copy of the results of the election. Senator Oluremi Tinubu likewise won her election with little or no opposition with about 47, 271 votes.
